Bloomsbury Residences will be developed by a joint venture between two Chinese developers. In the recent tender that closed on 18 January 2024, the Media Circle GLS site garnered 3 bids, with the top bid placed by a joint venture between CNQC Realty (Clementi) Pte. Ltd. and Forsea Residence Pte. Ltd. 

CNQC Realty (Clementi) Pte. Ltd. is an entity of Qingjian Realty, while Forsea Residence Pte. Ltd. is an entity under China Communications Construction Company, also known as Forsea Holdings. The Qingjian Realty - Forsea Holdings JV won the Media Circle site tender with a bid of $395 million, equivalent to a land rate of about $1,191 psf ppr. 

Qinjiang Realty has a long list of portfolios for constructing the Singapore skyline. Recent notable projects from the Group include Altura, The Arden, and Tenet EC. Forsea Holdings has also recently launched Hillock Green in 2023, a 99-year lease condo with 474 residential units in Lentor Central.

While it’s not quite within walking distance to some, future residents of Bloomsbury Residences can make use of the bus service available within the precinct – the nearest bus stop is Bef Whitchurch Rd, located just across the road. Additionally, those who drive will find it convenient to have quick access to the Ayer Rajah Expressway which ensures the pulse of the city is always within reach.
