    Wah, the heritage blocks really got character. I stayed in the modern tower, but the blend of old and new makes it special. Facilities are clean and security uncles all very nice.

    The condo has lots of amenities, but the large number of residents sometimes makes the common areas crowded. Noise from construction nearby can be a bit distracting at times.

Avenue South Residence will feature two flagship skyscrapers, erected against the original backdrop of five four-story art deco-style heritage buildings currently on Silat Avenue. The distinct twin towers stand out with their elegant simplicity and sharp lines coupled with rhythmically located pockets of sky terraces. A textured fabric is expressed through repetition of wood-colored vertical screens, offering a sun-shading application. Lush sky terraces and multi-storey green spaces inserted into the facade design of the two skyscrapers serve to break down the scale of the towers and create a visual connection to nature. Inspired by elements of tropical architecture and multi-heightened positioning, the sky terraces, balconies and sun-shading screens harmoniously integrate with the overall building form and architectural treatment of the development.

The Avenue South Residence symbolize ADDP Architects’ ability to fuse futuristic and ecologically-conscious modern housing while paying homage to the heritage of Singapore.
